Immediately before joining Tier 1, Michael was the Director of Sales for the Central Region of NexTier Oilfield Solutions. Prior to that, he spent the 7 years with C&J Energy Services / Casedhole Solutions, which at the time was the largest wireline company in North America. While there, Michael served in multiple sales and leadership roles with wireline & pressure pumping.

Prior to C&J, Michael spent 3 years with ThruBit Logging Solutions (Schlumberger) as a technical sales engineer. He started his career with Tucker Energy Services and worked his way from a Field Engineer up through the ranks of operations before starting his sales career in 2008.

Michael graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Engineering class of 2003. He is happily married and is the proud father of three fabulous daughters.

Michael is an active member with the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He served on the board of directors for the Mid-Continent Chapter of the SPE for 4 years and as the President for 2 years.
